The Therapy Company is a private mental health clinic based in Preston, supporting adults, children, young people and families with therapy, psychiatry, ADHD assessments and autism assessments.
The Therapy Company already had strong clinical expertise and a valuable service offering, but the marketing needed to make that clearer online.
The opportunity was to improve how people found the clinic, understood the services available and felt confident enough to make an enquiry.
Private mental health services are a high-trust decision. People are often searching while feeling unsure, overwhelmed or unclear about what support they need.
The Therapy Company needed marketing that could do more than create visibility. It needed to explain services clearly, build trust, support search performance and help people take the next step without feeling pressured.
The challenge was to improve visibility across search and social media while keeping the tone calm, human and appropriate for the subject matter.
The approach focused on building visibility and trust across several connected channels.
Website content was improved to better explain key services, including ADHD assessments, autism assessments, private psychiatry, counselling and EMDR therapy. Local SEO and search-led content helped more people find relevant pages through Google and Bing.
Social media content was kept simple, human and useful, with a focus on reassurance, education and low-pressure awareness rather than hard selling.
The work combined SEO, website updates, Google Business Profile activity, blog content and social media support into a more joined-up marketing approach.
Service pages were strengthened, internal links improved, search-focused content created and social posts shaped around the questions, concerns and situations people were already dealing with.
Instead of relying on one channel, the activity helped The Therapy Company become more visible, more helpful and more trusted across multiple touchpoints.
Website users increased
YTD website users rose from around 6,700 to around 12,000 compared with the same period.
Organic visibility improved
Tracked organic keywords increased from around 641 to around 835.
Backlinks increased
Backlinks grew from around 678 to around 771, supporting wider search visibility.
Social reach grew sharply
Recent 90-day social activity reached around 409,000 accounts and generated around 636,000 views.
More meaningful engagement
Recent social activity generated around 16,800 interactions and helped drive profile visits and website interest.
